Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd continued to build on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. She won her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO second round victory. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was victorious in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle with the fighters got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
